Our children currently meet in an upstairs classroom on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM. Brother Jeffrey Rickman leads in a time of religious intruction from the New City Catechism, with songs, physical competitions, and games interspersed. The children sometimes sing in worship.
We pray over our children, that they will encounter the Living Lord here among us, gaining vital and firsthand knowledge of his love, such that they never know the pain of falling away into sin as they grow into adulthood. We aim to equip them in prayer and ability to search the scriptures, such that they are empowered in faith throughout their lives.
The children and their families are a priority for our chuch. We want to help fathers and mothers to worship with their children in the home and in our sanctuary together. Fathers and mothers need support to raise children up in the way they should go. We intend to equip all members of the family for growth in holiness, encouraging one another in the life of faith.
